Campus & location
ITM offers you a unique campus in an operating seminar and event hotel with modern student rooms. The rooms were designed to the students’ needs: they are spacious and fully furnished and of course, they have a private bathroom. Bed covers, sheets and towels are provided. Moreover, every room features a private balcony from where you can enjoy the beautiful park surroundings.
You can choose between various board options (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or cater for yourself, there are shared kitchen facilities for the students to cook their own meals.
Leisure time
With a campus surrounded by nature but also close to our capital Vienna you have many possibilities to enjoy your leisure time in Austria. You can start your running track right behind the door if you are keen on sports, or just take a walk if you like nature more comfortably.
If you prefer more of a city feeling you can hop on the train and go to Vienna or neighbouring cities for exploring, culture or to dine out. Not far away, shopping enthusiasts will find Austria’s shopping city number Nr. 1 with an endless multitude of shops, cafes, restaurants and cinemas.
Bad Vöslau
The town of Bad Vöslau, with about 12.000 permanent residents, is located about 30 km south of Vienna. Tourism plays a significant role in Bad Vöslau. The popular health resort is famous for its beautiful scenery, mild climate and hot springs. The healing effects of the hot springs in Bad Vöslau were already familiar to the Romans. Today, the “Vöslauer” mineral water, which springs from 660 m below the surface, is exported throughout Europe.

Furthermore, the Vienna International Airport is only 30 minutes away by car which allows your friends and family to visit you any time! Of course, you can expect a discount at the College Garden Hotel if they require accommodation.
Alumni
ITM alumni form our network around the globe! Our annual “New Years Reception” is that venue to bring together our ITM family, despite the distance. Furthermore, it is a great opportunity for our students to create a link to the industry. The event is organised by our students and all alumni are invited.
After the completion of my Diploma I walk away from ITM brimming with confidence that is backed by knowledge and hard work.

Success stories
If you would like to know about your possibilities for your Internship or future career, take a look at some of the various ITM student success stories:
Graduated from the International Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management in Austria in 1992. I initially started work at a travel agent for two years before accepting a position as a Management Trainee for two years and was offered the position for Assistant Front Office Manager in a local hotel in Singapore. As my interest gravitated towards Sales, I changed to work as a Senior Business Development Manager at The Sheraton Towers Singapore. I remained in this position for over three years before leaving the hotel industry to work in Marketing in other fields. It was an interesting diversion, but my heart was in hotel, so I returned to the industry and worked in the most illustrious hotels including Capella Singapore as Executive Assistant Manager for nine years and the legendary Raffles Hotel Singapore where I served as Director of Sales & Marketing for six years. I am now currently working as a Hotel Manager at InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, Vietnam. My goal is to eventually become a General Manager. It was a long road with lots of hard work and long hours, but with the foundation I received from ITM, I managed to satisfy most of my professional aspirations. I wish everyone the same success and happiness I have enjoyed.
