Succesful Projects Involvement
Tourism Trailblazer Programme 2024
In 2024, ITM College conducted a tailor-made hospitality management training programme for 126 trainees. This project was initiated by the Ministry of Tourism of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In cooperation with Um Al-Qura University in Mecca, ITM College managed the courses and all relevant logistics, including visa handling.
ITM College provided a one-week training programme for approximately 20 students per session, offering single and twin hotel room accommodation on campus, full board, a leisure and excursion programme, airport transfers, and 24/7 supervision. The goal was to provide an outstanding hospitality experience in Austria while ensuring trainees gained maximum benefit from the intensive programme.
OTC - Oman Tourism College
ITM College played a key role in the establishment of OTC – Oman Tourism College in Muscat, providing a licensed Austrian ITM Diploma programme in Oman from 2001 to 2010. In 2010, the college was officially handed over to the Sultanate of Oman.
This project highlights ITM’s expertise as an international project partner in the establishment of educational institutions based on the Austrian model, adapted to local needs.
Rwanda Tourism Schools
This ongoing project involves the implementation of a three-year hotel management school in Rwanda. The objective is to establish a Centre of Excellence in Tourism, elevating tourism education in Rwanda, the “Land of a Thousand Hills.” The curriculum is based on the Austrian model and has been adapted to local needs to ensure the highest standards of tourism education.
The project is scheduled to start in 2026/2027, with potential for expansion to additional institutions.
Grüner Kreis
ITM College is also actively involved in training programmes in Austria. We design tailor-made hospitality training to meet customer expectations. For many years, ITM has been providing training programmes for the “Grüner Kreis” association, which focuses on the rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals.
Through this initiative, ITM aims to offer new opportunities for trainees in the tourism industry, helping them to build careers.
